SHORT ON TIME?
Take 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes to do this. You won't regret it! Pick 1 or 2 movements that will get your heart rate up. Tonight, I chose the rower and some stairs. (Other options: fast walking, sprinting, bike, elliptical, jabs and uppercuts, jump rope, mountain climbers, KB swings, etc.) Pick an interval work to rest ratio that challenges you. I chose 90s work:90s rest on the rower and full sprint up the stairs: walk back down. Have fun with it! Here's another example: Jump Rope for 60 sec., rest for 30 sec. Mountain Climbers for 30 sec., rest for 30 sec. Repeat for 15 minutes. Don't use time as an excuse for not exercising! When you say you don't have time, what you really mean is, you don't choose to make it a priority to spend your time on it. Take the time to get it done and it will carry over to all aspects of your life. You'll have more energy and less stress, you'll feel better and been in a great mood more often.

How many of us just grab a bar on the way out the door, or a muffin at a coffee shop in the morning?
More than likely your "on the go" breakfast foods are loaded with sugar and non-nutritious, processed ingredients. They're also usually lacking protein and quality fats. Bake a batch of these muffins this weekend, and you'll have nutritious breakfast "on the go" ready for the week! Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins Servings: 12 Ingredients
Last week I recorded this video, that explained that your perspective is your reality. The way you choose to perceive anything that happens in life, is your reality. The same thing applies to abundance. What does abundance really mean? It means what you believe it and perceive it to mean. To one person it may mean, to have a shelter over head and loved ones in their life. To another person abundance may mean being wealthy and having more material belongings than they know what to do with. So many of us have a scarcity mindset. We are always looking ahead to what we want to obtain in the future to give us a feeling of abundance, and when we achieve or maintain certain things, then we'll be happy. Think about how much better we would feel if we appreciated the things that we have in life currently. If we perceived our current life as abundant, it would give us less anxiety, stress, and disappointment, and more space and clarity to continue to grow and expand. So what is the quickest way to change this, and go from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset? Although this may seem difficult at first, and is probably the last solution that comes to your mind, trust me, this will change your life. When you feel like you're lacking something, give that thing to someone else. The action of serving others creates happiness and abundance in your own life. For example:
The great thing about this, is that the more you do it, the more abundant you feel, and the easier it becomes! I wish you happiness and abundance. Have an awesome week! |
